Travel with WIL to Puerto Rico

 

The WIL Travel Committee and our travel guide, Alandis Travel,

have prepared an exciting, educational and culturally

immersive trip to Puerto Rico for 8 nights.

February 27th thru March 7th, 2023

Our trip includes:

  • Bilingual Staff

  • Expert Tour Coordinator during the entire program

  • Orientation session

  • Expert Local Guides for the visits included

  • One (1) lecture taught in English by local experts on topics: Women’s Rights and Businesswomen in Puerto Rico

  • One (1) talk by María Foundation and one (1) talk by Proyecto Matria

  • Walking tour of Old San Juan, Ponce and Adjuntas

 

Other Activities:

  • San Juan: Cooking class, El Morro Castle, visit to Tereques La Tiendita (local business) and meeting with the owner, Sila Calderón Foundation and Felisa Rincón Foundation.

  • Loiza: Taller Salud, Bomba y Plena dance workshop

  • Guaynabo: painting in non-traditional mediums activity

  • Ponce: Parque Bombas, Serrallés Castle, Bioluminescent Bay

  • Adjuntas: Casa Pueblo, Bosque Escuela la Olimpia

  • El Yunque National Rainforest and Luquillo Beach

  • Expert Local Guides for each visit

 

Accommodations and Meals:

  • Seven (7) nights accommodation in 3*/4* hotel in San Juan in individual/ double rooms with breakfast included.

  • One (1) night accommodation in 3*/4* hotel in Ponce in individual/ double rooms with breakfast included.

  • Ten (10) meals as well as Welcome and Farewell dinners.

 

Transportation:

  • Ground transportation when necessary for all included cultural trips, excursions, and visits

  • One (1) group airport transfer at the beginning and one (1) group airport transfer at the end of the program.

  • Participants arriving/departing outside the arranged group transfer will be responsible for their own transportation arrangements and costs

  • Price per participant per group (based on minimum of ten paying participants) -- $3,200*

  • Supplemental individual fee -- $425

  • $100 Contribution to WIL

*This pricing information does not include roundtrip airfare for the program.

To reserve your spot, a deposit of $1000 is due by November 27, 2022.

The $1000 deposit in not refundable after December 2, 2022

Trip Balance and final payment is due by December 27, 2022.
