On January 20, 2021, Priyanka Varma, a Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL, and Maike Pfeiffer, a Policy Associate at J-PAL Global, shared policy-relevant lessons emerging from the global evidence in gender, highlighting key studies relevant to WIL on topics ranging from education to microfinance.
The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a global research center working to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Based at MIT and anchored by a network of affiliated professors at universities around the world, J-PAL’s research received the Nobel Prize for Economics.
